SportsConnect & GameChanger for Coaches & Parents

📌 Best Practices At a Glance

  • đź§­ Overview: Schedules and rosters are synced one way — from SportsConnect to GameChanger.
  • ⚠️ Do Not Schedule in GameChanger: GameChanger does not sync back to SportsConnect. Adding events in GameChanger will not reflect on the official league calendar.
  • đź“… Scheduling: All practices, games, and events must be created in SportsConnect (LTJBSA.com).
  • đź“§ Emails: All team-wide emails should be sent through SportsConnect — not GameChanger.
  • 📲 Quick Messages: Use GameChanger for chat-style updates like weather delays, reminders, or last-minute alerts.
  • âś… RSVPs: Parents should mark availability directly in GameChanger.
  • 📊 Scorekeeping & Pitch Counts: Use GameChanger for in-game scoring and tracking.

🧑‍🏫 Coach & Team Manager Information

Schedule Sync to GameChanger

  • Sign in using the same email you use on LTJBSA.com.
  • Coaches must open the GameChanger app once schedules are live to trigger the sync to the rest of the team
  • To re-import from SC: Team > Gear Icon > Schedule Sync > Re-Import Schedule.
  • Never schedule an event in GameChanger or on GC.com. Always use LTJBSA.com.

Manual Roster Import to GameChanger

  • Synchronization between SC and GC should start automatically once the League announces schedules and rosters are posted.
  • If you do not see your roster or schedule synchronized after 24 hours, from your GC homescreem tap “Add Team” > “Import from SportsConnect.” Select your team and tap import.

Adding Additional Family Members to GameChanger

  • Tap the Player > Contacts > Add Family Email.
  • Only emails matching their LTJBSA account will sync (safety feature).
  • To add an additional contact: Parents must log in to their LTJBSA.com account, go to the player's profile, and add an "Additional Contact" manually. This enables more than one adult to view the player's schedule in GameChanger.

How Coaches Should Share Information

  • Emails and Official Info: Use Team Central on LTJBSA.com only.
  • Quick Alerts or Chat: Use GameChanger’s messaging features.
  • Never rely on GC for emailing event changes or reschedules.

How to Access Team Central on LTJBSA.com

  • Visit LTJBSA.com and log in to your account.
  • Click the “Volunteer” tab in the left-hand menu.
  • Locate your assigned team and click the “Visit Team Page” button.
  • You’ll be taken to your Team Central dashboard, where you can:
    • View your official schedule (Games, Practices, Events)
    • Send emails to your team
    • Record pitch counts and game scores
    • Create new events (e.g., practices)

How to Send an Email in LTJBSA.com

  • Log in to your account at LTJBSA.com.
  • Click the “Volunteer” tab from the left-hand menu.
  • Click “Visit Team Page” for your team.
  • Select the Email tab from your team dashboard.
  • Enter a subject line and compose your message.
  • Attach any necessary files (optional).
  • Select recipients (all parents, subset of roster, etc.).
  • Click Send — your message will automatically BCC [email protected].

How to Enter Scores and Pitch Counts in LTJBSA.com

  • Log into LTJBSA.com and go to your Team Page.
  • Click the Calendar tab, then the Results button.
  • Scroll to the game you'd like to report.
  • Click Edit Scores next to the game.
  • Enter the final score and each pitcher's pitch count.
  • Only the home team can enter scores; once scores are saved, the visiting team may enter pitch counts.
  • Click Save & Post.
  • If needed, click Unpost Scores to make corrections and resave.
  • Click the Pitch Count button at the top to view eligibility reports for upcoming games.

How to Change Your Username or Email Address in SportsConnect

  • Go to LTJBSA.com and log in to your account.
  • Click on your account name in the upper right-hand corner.
  • Select Account Settings.
  • To change your email address (used as your login):
    • Click the pencil icon next to your current email address.
    • Enter your new email and click Save.
    • Verify the new email address through your inbox (you’ll receive a confirmation email).

How to Add an Additional User to a SportsConnect Account

  • Log in to LTJBSA.com.
  • Click on your name in the top right and go to My Account.
  • Locate your player's profile and click View Details.
  • Click +Add Additional User Access.
  • Enter the new user's name and email address.
  • Click Save. The new user will receive an email invitation to create their own login and gain access to the player’s schedule and team info.

How to RSVP in GameChanger

  • Open the GameChanger Team Manager app.
  • Tap on your team from the home screen.
  • Go to the team’s Schedule.
  • Select the game or practice you want to RSVP to.
  • Tap the Availability option.
  • Choose your player's availability: Yes or No.
  • You can update your RSVP at any time before the event starts. This helps coaches plan ahead and ensures fair playing time. Please RSVP as early as possible.
