📚 What You'll Learn
Rules Mastery: Deep dive into Little League Baseball and Softball rules, including tricky scenarios like interference and obstruction.
Field Mechanics: Proper positioning, angles, and rotation systems to ensure you see every play clearly.
Plate Mechanics: Establishing a consistent strike zone, timing your calls, and signaling with authority.
Game Management: How to conduct pre-game conferences, handle substitutions, and communicate effectively with coaches.
🧢 What You'll Do
Attend Training: Participate in interactive classroom sessions and on-field drills to build your confidence before the first pitch.
Work Games: Officiate at least four LTJBSA games during the season, putting your new skills into action in real game environments.
Take Command: Show leadership on the field at all times, ensuring the game is played fairly, safely, and at a good pace.
Role Model: Teach sportsmanship to players on the field by example, upholding the values of Little League.
