VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION GUIDE

This page provides a step-by-step for everything you need to get started as a volunteer this season!

All individuals who will be in contact with children are required to take all safety education courses, submit to a background check and live fingerprinting, and upload all proof of completion documents before they are allowed to participate as a volunteer.

🔗 LTJBSA Volunteer Registration Steps

  1. Log in or create an account at LTJBSA.com
  2. Go to VOLUNTEER from the left sidebar
  3. Click Find Volunteer Roles
  4. Select your role and complete the form
  5. Complete the required integrated background check, provided by Little League via JDP

Note: If your spouse or partner is volunteering, they must register using their own LTJBSA account.


💪 LTJBSA Volunteer Opportunities

Not every role is on the field! Consider supporting us through:

  • Off-Field Operations: Coordinate events, raise funds, maintain fields, or staff the Snack Shack. Tap here to see open positions on our SignUpGenius.

🎓 Safety Training Course Requirements

  • CDC Heads Up:
    • Register for an account at CDC Train.
    • Use "Join By Group Search" and search for both CDC and New Jersey.
    • After registering, return to the course page,
    • Click Pre-Assessment to start the course. 
    • Once complete, tap Print Certificate to download your PDF proof (no purchase needed).
  • Little League Courses:
    • Visit Little League Training to complete Abuse Awareness and Diamond Leader (one-time only).
    • To download PDF certificates, tap ALL on the left meu bar, then the picture of the trophy underneath the name of a completed course. 
  • LTJBSA Safety & First Aid: Take our online quiz (or upload CPR card).

🗂️ Live Fingerprinting via IdentoGo (NJ State Requirement)

This requirement is separate from Little League or Babe Ruth League regulations and applies to any youth recreation program using Township facilities. The process is conducted by IdentoGo, costs $27, and must be completed every three years. If you have a current IdentoGO fingerprint clearance from another organization, you may submit that instead.

To schedule your fingerprinting appointment:

  1. Visit uenroll.identogo.com
  2. Enter Service Code: 2F1J3Y
  3. Click "Schedule or Manage Your Appointment" and complete the application
  4. Enter Contributor Case Number: L03010

You will receive a Service Confirmation Receipt email from IdentoGo. Print this email to PDF and ensure it shows your full name, date, UE ID, and TCN numbers before uploading to our portal.


📅 Upload Your Documents

Upload each required certificate or receipt to our Volunteer Document Upload Portal as you complete them. All documents must be submitted before your first practice.

  • CDC Certificate
  • Abuse Awareness & Diamond Leader Certificates
  • Safety Quiz result or CPR card
  • IdentoGo confirmation PDF
