Thank you! We know you have many choices for youth sports, and we appreciate you considering our programs.

Youth sports programs create immediate and long-term benefits for players, their families, and the community at large. We're focused on creating a positive and supportive environment where every child can Try, Learn, and Grow.

To face challenges in a low-stakes, safe environment. Getting up to bat can be scary, so we create a trusted space where kids learn to cope with pressure and shine. Players are encouraged to take risks because the specific outcome of the games we play does not define them.

🧠 Learn

To acquire both athletic fundamentals and essential life skills. We prioritize teaching every kid the fundamentals of the game. By using tools like our Player Development Rubric, we focus on the process of development instead of the result.

🌱 Grow

To develop consistently as an athlete and a person over time. We aim to prepare athletes mentally and physically for higher levels of play while creating core groups that stay together as they grow.

About the LTJBSA

Each year, more than 500 ballplayers and their families from Lawrence, Ewing, and Hopewell Township, NJ participate in an LTJBSA program.

Established in 1963, the Lawrence Township Junior Baseball Softball Association (LTJBSA) is a non-profit 501-3(c) public charity that produces quality, community-based tee ball, softball, and baseball programs. We help children have fun, make memories, and learn to play the game on a trusted hometown field.

We strive to provide safe, low-pressure programs that let every child try, learn, and grow, while creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. We believe that community-based youth sports are an important platform for children to develop essential life skills like teamwork, resilience, and confidence.
