Player Registration

Creating an LTJBSA account on this website will ensure you receive an email alert when online registration opens. Generally, registration opens in December for the following Spring Season.

Team Assignment

Once registration closes, managers in each division will meet and draft their teams. Players will be drafted based on a combination of their age and skill level. Our goal is to set up teams and divisions that are fair and balanced in order to give each player a positive playing experience and to further their skill development.

For returning players, coaches will track their skill level year-to-year. For new players, we may ask your child to participate in a short workout so the coaches can become familiar with them.

Little League rules do not allow us to place players on the same team as a result of a request. The draft process is in place in order to ensure balanced teams.

Individual Skills Clinics and Team Practices

Lawrence Little League hosts free and fee-based winter training clinics to help build individual skills. By registering for our email list, you will be notified when these clinics are scheduled. All clinics are held in our indoor training facility at Central Park.

Team practices begin in March once the draft is concluded. When the weather warms, teams will practice outside on the fields. During the season, each team will have 1 scheduled practice night.

Our Season

Each team will generally play two games per week - one on a weeknight and one on Saturday. . Game times during the week start at 6:00pm. (Older players may have a slighter later start time).
