We believe that providing a trusted, hometown space where kids can try, learn, and grow can make a lasting, positive impact on a player's development as an athlete and a person.
Getting up to bat is scary. But so is a job interview. Or giving a presentation. Life has a lot of scary moments, and part of growing up is learning how to deal with them. Sports create anxiety-filled situations where kids can learn to cope with pressure and shine, rather than struggle in the moment. Fundamentally, what happens on our fields doesn’t matter, so players get to learn how to thrive in a setting that ultimately doesn’t mean anything if they fail.
Our goals for each season are simple:
- Ensure everyone gets a chance to play.
- Help everyone create lasting memories with their friends.
- Encourage everyone to discover important life skills like teamwork, perseverance, resilience, and sportsmanship.
- Equip everyone with the fundamental skills they need to try out for middle school softball/baseball.
