The meeting will be held at the Slackwood Fire House, 21 Slack Avenue.
Volunteer attendance at meetings is strongly encouraged but not required.
There will be two main topics of discussion at this important meeting:
- Nominations for the LTJBSA and LLL Board of Directors for the 2024 season.
- A public discussion about implementing work bonds for LTJBSA programs. The proposal is that beginning in 2024, in order to participate in LTJBSA programs, families would be required to post a bond in addition to paying player fees. The bond would be returned in full provided the family completes a specified number of volunteer hours during the season.
We would like to have as many members of our community join this meeting to provide input prior to a formal proposal being submitted to the LTJBSA Board for consideration (likely at our December meeting).
The Lawrence Township Junior Baseball & Softball Association (LTJBSA) is a volunteer organization that coordinates the Lawrence Little League, Lawrence Babe Ruth League, and Lawrence Competitive Travel programs.
