With the revised CDC and Township guidelines now in effect, softball and baseball dugouts are now open for in-game use as long as we follow the below guidelines:
- All players should stay in the dugout when not batting or playing the field.
- Players do not have to wear masks while in the dugout (but can if it makes them feel more comfortable).
- Only one coach is allowed in the dugout when players are present, and that coach must be masked.
- Gear bags must be stored outside the dugout and bats must be kept in the bat rack.
- Players may bring their helmet and glove into the dugout to be stored under the bench.
- There is spray hand sanitizer and an EPA-approved disinfectant available for each dugout.
- After each practice or game, coaches must spray the dugout bench and the gate latch with the disinfectant.
