Tryouts are open to all players that have played in Lawrence Little League this year.

Players will be selected through the following criteria:

1) Ability shown during the regular season, as observed by each coach in the players’ division
2) Ability demonstrated during the tryout process in the following areas: throwing, catching, fielding, baserunning, hitting
3) Roster makeup by position as determined by the All-Star Head Coach

Tryouts will be held next Saturday, May 22nd, at Lawrence Central Park. Tryouts are timed to be right after Photo Day pictures are taken and to not conflict with games.

Here are the times:

7-Year Old Tryouts: 10-10:45am
8-Year Old Tryouts 9-9:45am
10/9-Year Old Tryouts: 11-11:45
12/11-Year Old Tryouts: 12-12:45pm

Each head coach will name their team by May 28. Once rosters are finalized, we will hold a parent information session for each team.

Registering Your Player to Tryout

Your player must be registered on LTJBSA.com by May 21 in order to be eligible for selection. To do this:

1) Log into your account at www.ltjbsa.com
2) Click the “Programs Available” button next to your player’s name.
3) Select the right team for your player’s age.
4) Complete the form.
5) Show up at the appropriate time for his age group on May 22.
